| PARTICIPANTS - BITZ YOU NEED TO KNOW getting to bellingen BELLINGEN is located on the mid north holiday coast NSW, midway between Brisbane & Sydney - approx. 6 hrs. driving time from either city. It's a 30 minute drive south from the Coffs Harbour Airport. Closest railway station is at Urunga, ditto the Syd/Brisb bus stop. From Urunga, it's 12 km to Bellingen. If arriving by public transport, advise your arrival time in advance and it's likely someone can meet you - 3 AM pickups discouraged. Otherwise it's about $30 on the LOCAL TAXI 02 6655 9995. Ditto if you require a lift - sharing petrol costs. registration MAIN REGISTRATION DAY is on Saturday 31 December, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM at the Memorial Hall - otherwise register on the day of your arrival. Memorial Hall is located in the main street opp. Post Office & Council Chambers - marked by the first pedestrian crossing as you drive into town from the direction of the Pacific Highway. Memorial Hall is the contact & administrative site (opens 7:30 AM daily) throughout the event. If you arrive in town after hours, check the window at Memorial Hall for maps and info about that evening's events.
