le Parkour - poetry in motion

Public
- daily 2 hr session 5-9th jan

Le Parkour is a French art of freestyle movement through complex environments. Trees, walls, rails, platforms, fences ... to the skilled Parkourist or traceur, all "barriers" are simply challenges to be navigated by running, leaping, rolling, and vaulting. Through le Parkour, traceurs aim to experience "the flow", the ultimate freedom of navigating their environment with skill, creativity, courage and style.

Since the release of the acclaimed BBC/Discovery Channel documentary "Jump London" in mid-2003, le Parkour or "FreeRunning" has experienced a huge burst of popularity and interest.
