Breakdancing
Learn the basics from popping and the robot to top rock and six step all the way up to windmills, 1990's and handglides. Students will learn a basic routine combining the three main areas of breaking; popping, toprocking and floor moves. Learn about the culture of Hip Hop, it's history and its presence in Australia today.

Sydney based Hip Hop artist, performer and director.
Performed from Bondi Beach to the Bronx, the Sydney Opera House to Long Bay Jail,
Wilcannia to San Francisco.

Morganics has taught Hip Hop in jails, community centres and isolated Aboriginal communities all around Australia. In 2002 he released his solo album "invisible forces..." and "All You Mob! Recordings of young Aboriginal Hip Hop from around Australia". This spawned the now infamous "Down River" track by The Wilcannia Mob. He was recently highly commended in the Justice Awards at New South Wales Parliament House for his work with socially and economically disadavantaged people in rural and regional New South Wales.

He has performed with his old crew MetaBass'n'Breath all around Australia, they twice toured the US in '97 and '98 and in 2002 he did a solo tour to the states.

Parallel to his career as an MC, Morganics is arguably Australia's foremost Hip Hop Theatre practicioner. He directed "Hip Hopera" a mammoth Community Theatre production in 1995, performed in "The Bridge, a Hip Hop Play" and wrote and directed the multimedia spectacular "Sport and Porn" in 1996. He performed at the 2002 Adelaide International Festival in "The Longest Night" a theatre show incorporating elements of Hip Hop created in collaboration with residents of Adelaide's western suburbs.

He has performed solo Theatre Shows at The Cleveland International Performance Art Festival (1994) and Brisbane International Arts Festival(1996). His most recent work a one man Hip Hop Theatre show, "Crouching Bboy Hidden Dreadlocks" (The Performance Space April 2003) was a sell out and a critical success. He remounted the work for The Perth International Arts Festival (Feb 2004) the Brisbane Powerhouse (Feb 2004) and a sold out season at The Studio at the Sydney Opera House in March 2004.

He directed "River Rhythm Beatbox" for the Message Sticks Indigenous Program at The Studio in May 2004. 20 Aboriginal teenage Hip Hop artists travelled from Bourke, Wilcannia and Broken Hill to perform their Hip Hop songs in a Hip Hop, multimedia journey down the Darling River.
